Churchill Parliament Pinks Out

Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Churchill High School Parliament celebrated the month of October with its "Pink Out the Chargers" campaign in regards to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The objective was go "Pink Out" for the football game against Roosevelt High School taking place on October 26 at Blossom Athletics Center Comalander Stadium.

During the week of October 21-25, members of Parliament sold shirts during all lunches for $10. The purchase of the shirts was made possible by our generous supporters who donated monetary donations so that more money could be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Thank you to our supporters Big'Z Burger Joint, Orange Leaf, the Day Spa @ Folawn's and Las Palapas. At the end of the week we completely sold out of shirts! A total amount of $1819.41 will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation in the fight against breast cancer. Thank you to our wonderful staff and students for helping make this event possible and a huge success.
