Churchill hosts Meet the Chargers

Meet the Chargers is an annual event hosted by the Churchill High School Charger Sports Association to kick off the season for all sports at Churchill for the new school year. It will be on Saturday August 20, just before school starts.

The event welcomes students back with a pep rally that honors all Charger varsity sports teams and their coaches. The new Band, Cheerleaders, Dance Team, Drill Team, Pep Squad and JROTC members will perform to energize and entertain with Charger spirit!

Dinner will be catered by Fuschak’s Pit Bar-B-Q of San Marcos, and includes a generous serving of brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad and tea. Tickets are $8 per plate prior to August 12, and will be $10 after that date and at the door. Food service will run from 5:30-7 p.m. The Pep Rally will begin at 7:30 p.m.
