Churchill Latin Club Hosts Texas' Oldest Certamen Tournament

Churchill High School's Latin Club will host Texas' Oldest Certamen Tournament on December 10. Certamen is a rapid-response Jeopardy-like quiz game that draws teams from San Antonio, Houston and Austin to compete at the state's oldest tournament.
Three teams go head to head answering Latin language, mythology and Roman history questions, and the highest scoring teams make it into the final round on the stage.
The cost is $15 per team, and spectators are free.
