ABOUT THE KIN STAFF
The Kids' Involvement Network Staff have the following qualifications for employment:
- Meets all NEISD employment qualifications including criminal records check, reference check, and specific experience according to job description. Site Directors must be degreed or have equivalent experience.
- Certified in Adult/Infant/Child CPR/First Aid and AED
- Required training (24 hours for Assistants and 58 hours for Assistant Directors and Directors)
- All employees receive training in the following areas:
- Positive Discipline
- Child Abuse Prevention and Reporting
- Supervision
- Developmental Stages
- Age Appropriate Activities
- Behavior Management Techniques
- Transitions
- Playground Safety
- Academic Activities aligned with TEKS and District Scope and Sequence
- City/School Emergency Procedures
- CHAMPS- NEISD district wide behavior management model
