ESL (English as a Second Language) Classes


English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are offered to help students learn and improve their English skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students receive English instruction to help get a job or start a new career. Our students will become more employable, productive and responsible community members.


Student Eligibility



NEISD Adult Education ESL program provides instructional services for individuals who:

  • Are 19 years old or older
  • Need English language instruction in speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Have current government issued picture identification like state driver license, country identification card or passport
