We have received so much helpful feedback from our two boundary meetings and our first two meetings with the PTA. We appreciate your attendance and comments at those meetings and we also thank many of you who have communicated your thoughts via email. We continue to welcome any additional comments at email@example.com. We appreciate so many of you taking the time to weigh in on the options presented. As the district continues to review your suggestions, we have determined a third boundary meeting that was set for November 19th, 2013 will not be necessary. Staff is working to prepare a recommendation to be presented to the Board of Trustees in December. Please continue to monitor this website for further updates.
NEISD welcomes your comments and concerns regarding middle school boundary changes. Your concerns will be documented and shared with the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees.

The district looks forward to working with its community as it modifies middle school boundaries north of 1604. Currently, we are in the preliminary stages of planning in boundary changes.
We received community feedback regarding grandfathering clauses after the October 23rd boundary presentation held at Reagan HS. The following link provides four additional slides for potential options to be considered.
Additionally, North East ISD would like to invite neighborhood groups and community members to attend any of the upcoming meetings that will include a presentation on the possible scenarios on middle school boundary changes (north of 1604).
It is anticipated that only two boundary meetings will be necessary before presenting the scenarios to our Board of Trustees. However, if the Research Department is directed by the superintendent to create additional scenarios, we will present the additional scenario(s) on the 19th of November at Tejeda. The presentations for middle school boundary scenarios held at both Johnson and Reagan will be identical and will cover proposed changes for both east and west of 281 and north of 1604.
Below are the dates and times for these meetings.
